Pal-Think for Strategic Studies, a leading Palestinian think tank promoting dialogue, democracy, and nonviolence, has been awarded the Africa Liberty Award: Vision 2025<\/strong> at a ceremony held in Nairobi, Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 This prestigious honour, presented at the African Liberty Forum by Atlas Network, <\/em>recognizes Pal-Think\u2019s significant contributions to liberty, civil society, and democratic values across Palestine and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pal-Think was selected for its pioneering work in advancing civic education, empowering youth, and fostering a culture of nonviolence and tolerance in one of the most challenging political environments in the world. Through its robust programming, publications, and regional partnerships, Pal-Think has demonstrated a visionary commitment to the principles of liberty, individual rights, and open dialogue \u2014 values that resonate deeply with the spirit of the Africa Liberty Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are deeply honoured to receive this recognition,” said Omar Shaban, Founder and Director of Pal-Think. “This award belongs to every Palestinian young person, activist, and citizen who believes in dialogue over division, and in knowledge over conflict. It is a cornerstone to the power of ideas in driving peaceful and democratic change, even in the most difficult circumstances.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vision 2025 is a vibrant gathering of liberty advocates, leaders, and changemakers from across the continent. At the Forum, Pal-Think explored pressing issues facing Africa\u2019s future and the region with other partners. Discussions around economic freedom and individual rights, through thought-provoking discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities were held. The Forum was a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and gain practical tools to advance liberty in the Palestinian community. Shaping the region\u2019s future necessitates the energy, innovation, and joint effort to work together to create a freer, more prosperous future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pal-Think continues to work on and call for the Palestinian youth\u2019s empowerment, fostering civic responsibility, and building a resilient Palestinian civil society, even amidst significant political and economic challenges. By equipping young people with the tools to think critically, engage constructively, and lead community-based initiatives in their communities, Pal-Think is shaping a new generation of civic and peaceful leaders committed to peaceful and democratic change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the third time that Pal-Think is recognised to the Liberty Awards presented by Atlas Network, which highlights the increasingly global nature of liberty-focused efforts and the importance of Pal-Think\u2019s cross-regional collaboration in advancing shared democratic goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pal-Think\u2019s recognition at the Africa Liberty Forum is more than just an award, but it is a powerful affirmation of its key role in contributing to building a strengthened Palestinian civil society, shaping a more just, inclusive, and democratic future in Palestine. As Pal-Think continues to deepen its local impact and expand its regional partnerships, this award serves as a catalyst for further innovation, resilience, and hope.
