RECONSTRUCTION OF THE EDUCATION SECTOR
Pal-Think for Strategic Studies is proud to contribute to a comprehensive knowledge production project implemented by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in cooperation with Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP). The project produces 11 policy papers that focus on the implications of war in Palestine and innovative tools to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians. The ongoing war on Gaza has left devastating impacts on Gaza’s life aspects and infrastructure, with the education sector being one of the hardest hit. Schools and universities suffered widespread destruction, and the educational system, already strained by years of conflict, now faces unprecedented challenges. This paper aims to explore the reconstruction of the education sector in Gaza focusing on both the immediate needs for rebuilding infrastructure and the long-term strategies for restoring quality education.
