Simple Project Summary:

This project aims to address the urgent psychological and social needs of young Palestinians affected by the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza. It focuses on two main components:

  1. Resilience Training for Youth – helping them cope with trauma, stress, and loss.
  2. Knowledge Production – documenting and analyzing the war’s effects on Gaza’s social fabric through research papers.

The project seeks to empower young people, restore their sense of dignity and hope, and contribute to a deeper understanding of how war reshapes community relationships and social dynamics.

  2. Production of Three Working Papers: Analytical papers documenting the social and psychological impact of the war, focusing on:
    • The breakdown of social bonds and displacement.
    • Shifts in community support networks.
    • Access to humanitarian aid and the dignity of recipients.
  3. Awareness and Dissemination: Sharing findings with civil society, international organizations, and the public to promote informed discussion and advocacy.

Project Objectives:

  • Strengthen youth resilience and psychological well-being amid the war.
  • Promote dignity and self-agency for young Palestinians facing trauma and deprivation.
  • Document and analyze the changing social and humanitarian realities in Gaza.
