Project Summary:

This project aims to strengthen coherence and collaboration among Palestinian civil society organizations (CSOs) from Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem to jointly shape a unified vision for post-war governance, reconstruction, and long-term political settlement.

Through the creation of a coalition of 15 CSOs, the project will promote political dialogue, develop evidence-based policy recommendations, and advocate for shared national priorities with Palestinian leadership. Pal-Think will leverage its extensive network and expertise in peacebuilding, dialogue facilitation, and policy research to bridge divides across geographic and political lines.

Main Activities:

  1. Coalition Formation: Establish a coalition of 15 CSOs (7 from Gaza, 5 from the West Bank, 3 from East Jerusalem) ensuring inclusion of women and youth (35%).
  2. Roundtable Discussions (RTDs): Conduct 7 RTDs with up to 70 participants and 14 experts to discuss post-war governance, reconstruction, and political reform topics.
  3. Policy Papers Development: Produce 7 policy papers based on RTD findings, covering priority themes such as institutional reform, reconstruction, and civil society roles.
  4. Dissemination & Advocacy: Share results through an online conference, social media campaigns, and email outreach to amplify CSO recommendations to policymakers and the public.

Project Objectives:

  • Enhance political dialogue and build consensus between CSOs across Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.
  • Foster a unified vision for reconstruction, governance, and national priorities post-conflict.
  • Strengthen the role of civil society in policy influence and peacebuilding efforts.
  • Promote inclusion of women and youth in political and governance discussions.
  • Develop actionable policy recommendations that guide leadership decisions toward national reconciliation and effective governance.
